Ida Fernandez going cray cray on a Friday night.

I have to say, I really miss Manila’s energy on a weekend, the cheap liquor and of course, my friends who are always just a text message away. My Friday nights here consist of either watching series from my laptop, dropping off books in the library or stuffing my face with oily fast food (which is already considered as my most “sinful” act for the weekend). Ho-hum.

9 years later and I am still not over with this song!

*

It really takes me a long time to move on, in general.

Last 2009 was my very first time to visit a zoo. Imagine that - I’ve been living for 22 years yet I haven’t experienced being up close with animals. Sure, my Childcraft textbooks provided me meaningful information about animals but it was incomparable to seeing them move, eat, play, swing and even sneeze in front me.

I loved the safari theme of San Diego Zoo. I said to myself that it wouldn’t matter if my first visit to the zoo would also be my last one because almost all the animals that I could possibly name are sheltered in San Diego Zoo!

Who would’ve thought that 3 years later I would find myself in Singapore Zoo? The best part was I got in for free! :) It was my job to enjoy the site along with the kids!

If San Diego Zoo has a safari theme, Singapore Zoo looks like a rainforest! And according to Google, both of these zoos are among the Top 10 Zoos in the World: http://newsanimals.blogspot.sg/2011/04/top-10-zoos-of-world-ten-best-animal.html

Thank you Lord for blessing me with the best experiences in the world! :)

WANTED

A clean and considerate and clean (extra emphasis on the clean) housemate.

Preferably one who does not leave his used dishes on the sink overnight, or eats your bread, nutella, strawberry milk (oh the list can go on!) without your permission. Please also use your own cooking oil - one bottle costs less than 2 dollars for christ’s sake! And please, oh my goodness please, invest on your own cutlery set! May laway ko na yan, sigurado kang gusto mo parin makigamit?!

Unfortunately there are just some people in the world who don’t have the words ‘clean’ and ‘considerate’ in their vocabulary. Why won’t you try washing the dishes or clearing out the dining table after eating some time? Liliwanag ang mundo mo! Pramis!

The award for Best Birthday Greeting Year 2012 goes tooooo…..

my dear friend Maica Salvador! :) Thank you thank you!!
